Family Day Care/ After school care Educator 1 day a week 4-Month Fixed Term

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Professional to join our team as Family Day Care Educator in the Blackburn area to operate after school care.

**Requirements**:

- You hold a **completed** Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or Diploma/Grad Cert/Grad Dip in ECE
- You live in or near Blackburn
- Your house/apartment is suitable for 1 child (grade 2) to sit down to do his homework
- You have time Mon OR Wed OR Fri 3.30-5.30pm to care for the child (grade 2)
- Previous experience working with children is not essential
- Registration and enrolment to be finalised by 30th April 2025

What we offer:

- $250 payment a week
- All set-up cost, administration and training is provided
- Child is ready to start orientation
- Your day care can be extended if desired, we are happy to assist you to enrol more children and open for more days and hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and education to a school age child in your home-based setting
- Develop and implement engaging learning programs
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment
- Maintain accurate records of child’s progress and development
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
