**Xylem** is seeking a **Service Technician** to work in our **Perth Airport** workshop and to service our customers out in the **field**. This role will repair Xylem equipment in the workshop and will attend sites to repair Xylem products with a focus on Godwin diesel pump sets.

You will have a mechanical trade qualification preferably with a diesel leaning, like to trouble shoot, are solutions focused, will live by our “Accept Only Zero” safety culture and provide exceptional Customer service.

**The role**:

- Clean, strip, overhaul customer pumps and products and provide assessments for customers for cost of repairs prior to completion of repairs in the workshop.
- Carry out on site servicing of Xylem products and emergency work on pumping and associated equipment on customers sites.
- Work independently and remotely on customer sites throughout the Murchison and South West.
- Provide timely and accurate advice and support to staff and customers on service, workshop and product related issues both orally and in writing.
- Maintain all relevant documentation and reports for work undertaken.

**About you**:

- Trade qualified as a diesel or mechanical fitter (prior experience working with pumps would be an advantage but not essential).
- Great attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be a good communicator with a great attitude.
- Ability to travel throughout the Murchison & South West regions.
