Work based in a furniture warehouse/ distribution centre in Redland Bay QLD 4165

This role involves heavy lifting and moving stock frequently, and you also get the benefit of working with our customers and seeing their excited faces as you help them to load products into their vehicles, ready to transform their homes.

To be considered for this role, you will confidently demonstrate the following:

- Be physically fit - lifting and physical exertion is part of the role
- Abilities to work in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A consistently solid work ethic
- Able to work well as part of a dedicated team
- Excellent customer service standards and ethics
- Abilities to prioritise and multitask on a daily basis
- Valid working visa

You will be required to perform the following daily tasks, to a high standard:

- Efficient and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods
- Cross checking deliveries against paperwork (reconciliation)
- Provide assistance to the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the workflow of the warehouse, ensuring that productivity is maximised at all times
- Complying with OH&S protocols and educating others of their importance
- Moving stocks performing heavy lifting, as required
- Unloading of container and general warehouse maintenance
- Furniture assembly/ installation
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse

When required:

- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle
- Deliver allocated goods to customers with due time as a delivery offsider

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
