Our client is a global leading food manufacturer in their space. Due to continued growth in the market and an aggressive approach to product improvement solutions, the company is looking to take on a strong Mechanical Draftsperson with extensive experience with AutoCAD to join the team, based in Riverview, QLD.

**The role**

Reporting into the Group Engineer, your responsibilities will include;
- Responsible for the technical design and detailing of process systems and equipment typical of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Drafting standard and bespoke machinery and equipment using AutoCAD (Both 2D and 3D), ensuring each design aligns with the customer specifications.
- Managing multiple projects, ensuring the timely delivery of each within budget and to the specification of the customer.
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including suppliers, engineering, production and customers.
- Offering technical support during the installation and assisting in the commissioning and hand over of complex projects.

**Your background**

In order to be successful in this role you will be;
- Preferably a degree qualified engineer.
- You must have extensive experience in drafting and designing bespoke industrial machines and equipment using Solid works.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with different teams within the business.
- Materials handling design experience will be advantageous.
