**What will you do?**:
**As a Supplier Services Assistant you will support Supplier Services with supplier queries, payments, exceptions, and reporting.** Additionally, you will liaise with the offshore finance team to ensure Supplier Services tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.** **To support simplification and automation leading to overall efficiencies in Finance in line with Targets goals and values.

Other responsibilities will include:
Support with the management of Supplier Services activities, including liaising between Target and the offshore Accounts Payable team
Create and develop processes to meet operational needs, improve accuracy and efficiency of the overall accounts payable function
Lead key finance projects to simplify and automate process
Support with the Supplier Registration process
Provide ongoing reporting around accounts payable, and supplier services functions to aid business performance
Own the induction, coaching and development to create a high performing team with clear measures, development plans and support mechanisms to establish succession plans and talent pipelines
Lead the Target vision, strategy and values within the team and across the organization
Accountable for a safe workplace by identifying and reporting safety concerns and leading by example by maintaining a safe working environment and demonstrating safe working behaviour

**What are we looking for?**:
We are looking for someone who can step straight in with a sound understanding of Accounts Payable and takes initiative to lead by taking accountability for process improvement and simplification.

Other capabilities will include:

- Experienced working with an outsourced service provider
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of ODBMS an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Experience in business process improvement
- Accounts experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent is an advantage
- Experience supervising a team to achieve results
