**Position Objective**

The position objective of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to assists with all Housekeeping activities, in order to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the entire property, while ensuring guest comfort at all times.

- Mentor for all Team Members in providing extraordinary service.
- Oversee all work activities in the department, ensuring all tasks are completed at or above the required standard.
- Coordinate all work activities on a shift-to-shift basis, ensuring all department procedures are followed and daily tasks are completed according to the company standard.
- Conduct daily departmental meetings to brief Team Members on activities and discuss any issues relevant to the shift.
- Provide a complete and accurate hand over between shifts, communicating any requirements for subsequent shifts.
- Assist in the preparation of Team Member rosters, ensuring that optimum number of Team Members is achieved within budgetary guidelines.
- Implement special cleaning projects on a regular basis.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of Team Members for the department, when required.
- Organise skill training for Housekeeping Team Members in conjunction with the Human Resources.
- Understand and implements all OH&S and emergency procedures and ensures all Team Members are trained accordingly.
- Communicate with all departments in the property to ensure a smooth flow of work.
- Clean and Conduct regular checks of all areas of the property to ensure that all facilities are being cleaned and maintained according to Health and Safety regulations.
- Assist in controlling of all Housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, linen and supplies.
- Ensure all lost property is accurately recorded and stored to ensure a quick return to guests.
- Liaise closely with the Front Office team and the Maintenance team to ensure a quick change over of rooms.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
