**About the Role**

We are seeking a caring and reliable **Support Worker**to provide **personal care supports** to an NDIS participant. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to duty of care.

**Role Details (Please Read)**
- **Shift times**: Weekday afternoons (3 hours 03:30 - 06:30 pm)
- **Pay**: Competitive rate + travel reimbursement
- **Expectations**: Punctuality and reliability are critical to avoid disruption of participant’s care routine.
- **Opportunity**: More hours will be offered once the participant feels comfortable with staff. We are seeking someone committed and reliable.

**Key Duties**
- Provide **personal care supports**:showering, toileting, continence care, meal preparation and medication administration**.
- Follow the NDIS Code of Conduct and participant’s shift plan.
- Assist participant with transportation and community participation.
- Support participant to achieve their personal goals.
- Maintain accurate records: timesheets, shift notes, incident/risk reports.
- Communicate honestly and transparently with the team and family.
- Remain vigilant about in-home and outdoor risks.
- Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and consistency at all times.

You are a dependable, empathetic, and proactive support worker with:

- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Commitment to participant safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Essential Documentation**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver’s License & Own Car
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Infection Control / Safe Hand Hygiene Training

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $38.34 - $42.74 per hour
