This role will lead the process of updating the Baw Baw Shire Kindergarten Infrastructure and Services Plan (KISP) to incorporate demand for Pre-Prep, and other necessary data updates as required. The KISP informs estimates of demand for Three and Four-Year-Old kindergarten places that cannot be met through existing services for the 2021-29 period, after optimising utilisation of existing services and infrastructure.
Informed by updated KISP data, and in collaboration with the Department of Education (the Department) a Building Blocks Pipeline Plan will be developed. The plan will result in an in-principal agreement between the Department and Baw Baw Shire Council for co-investment in long-term project pipelines under agreed funding parameters that builds capacity for both three and four-year-old Kindergarten. This work will be complimented by the development of a Kindergarten Infrastructure Delivery Policy.
