**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Operations Manager will have a strategic and hands on approach to overseeing Sydney Metro and NSW North Coast logistics and processing operations ensuring AOC quality standards and HACCP principles are met.
Key responsibilities:

- Ensure safe working practices are the centre of the working day
- Manage Sydney Metro and NSW North Coast logistics and production employees to meet production schedules, food safety requirements, and quality standards
- Lead and mentor your team to be engaged, motivated and productive
- Ensure production targets align with sales targets and are continually optimised
- Schedule the Sydney and Northern oyster deliveries and pickups, and current and future Sydney to Victoria logistics
- Liaise with Batemans Bay Operations Manager for coordination of oyster seed, packaging, and transfer stock between sites
- Work closely with sales team to ensure customer expectations and deliveries are met
- Work with GM Production in the development of forecast and budgets for the site
- Ensure all processing and storage areas are kept clean and tidy to a high food service standard and adhere to all areas of the AOC HACCP program
- Represent the business to the highest professional standards

**_Please note that a current Drivers Licence is essential for this position. A Forklift Licence, HR/MR licence and First Aid Certificate are an advantage. Occasional intrastate travel to the AOC Batemans Bay facility and other sites is a requirement of this role._**

**ABOUT YOU**
- Do you have 5+ years of food manufacturing experience and know your way around a busy production floor and a financial budget?

- Do you have an open communication style and the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse range of people?
- Are you a stickler for detail, continuous improvement, and safe working practices?
