Yass Motel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our well-established accommodation in the heart of Yass, NSW. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Yass River, our property offers clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and convenient amenities including BBQ facilities and on-site parking. We’re a popular stop for travellers heading between Sydney and Melbourne, and only a 40-minute drive from Canberra International Airport.

**About the Role**

As the **Motel Manager**, you will oversee the daily operations of Yass Motel, ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and pleasant stay. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating guest services, and maintaining profitability while upholding high standards of hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of the motel.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures for staff operations.
- Preparing budgets and financial plans and monitoring expenditure.
- Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Organising and controlling the motel’s operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Promoting and marketing the business.
- Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities.
- Maintaining business records and preparing reports as required.
- Ensuring guests’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded.

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant Qualification.
- Proven experience in hotel or motel management or a similar hospitality leadership role.
- Sound knowledge of front desk operations, housekeeping standards, and guest service protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a small team effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods as required.
