Climate Reporting Manager

**Your Team**

This twelve month maximum term contract opportunity sits within the Strategy and Corporate Development team in our Strategy, Legal, and Corporate Affairs business unit.

This new role will focus specifically on the climate reporting project, including taking ownership of the Climate Pillar within the sustainability strategy and the Climate Transition Plan. The role supports the Senior Manager, Sustainability & Strategy, who will continue to oversee the project more broadly.

**Your Responsibilities**

As the Climate Reporting Manager, you will assist lead the delivery of CFS’s first mandatory climate-related financial disclosure in accordance with AASB S2. This role is central to ensuring CFS meets its regulatory obligations while embedding climate reporting into the broader strategic and sustainability agenda. You will work across business units to gather, validate, and present climate-related data and insights, and act as the lead writer responsible for drafting and shaping the final report content.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the end-to-end development of CFS’s first mandatory climate report in line with AASB S2 requirements serving as the principal writer responsible for drafting and refining content to ensure clarity, compliance, and strategic alignment.
- Coordinating the collection and validation of climate-related disclosures from content owners across the business.
- Assisting with the management of internal review and sign-off processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assisting with assurance activities to support the credibility and audit-readiness of all reported data.
- Reviewing and monitoring CFS Climate Transition Plan including Corporate Net-zero Action Plan.
- Overseeing Scope 1 and 2 emissions calculations.
- Providing input into regular updates to governance bodies, including the Leadership Team and Board, on climate reporting progress and insights.
- Ensuring climate reporting insights are integrated into CFS’s broader strategic planning and sustainability initiatives.Assist in leading the impact assessment and gap analysis to support the scale-up of CFS’s mandatory climate reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

**Your Capability and Experience**
- Deep understanding of AASB S2 and climate-related disclosure frameworks (e.g. TCFD, ISSB).
- Proven experience in ESG or sustainability reporting, ideally within financial services.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate complex climate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.A background in Financial Services (inhouse or consultancy roles) will be highly regarded.
