**HSE Advisor** to join our large Mining/Shutdown clients team, located in Welshpool.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Managing injuries to provide the employee with the most prompt and effective care and attention whilst producing the most prompt and cost effective solution for the sites and company
- Supporting the Projects Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Systems in instilling the required safety culture through personal instruction, example and leadership
- Ensure, conduct, implement and maintain Job Safety Analysis and Safe Act Observations and Take 5’s
- Attend Site Safety meetings and assist committee members to resolve issues raised and develop employee involvement initiatives
- To develop, maintain and adhere to the RCR’s Workshop deliverables matrix
- Safety Management plans and CRAW’s
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level.

**To be considered for the position you must have the following**:

- Completed a Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Training and Assessment.
- Completed a Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understands Safety Management on the job training systems and processes.
- Possess strong computer skills and is familiar with MS Office.
- Ability to respond to a changing work environment.
- Working knowledge of the Australian OH&S legislation Acts and Regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Victorian Rail Safety Act and associated Regulations
