**Company Description**:
We are a leading manufacturer of high pressure water jetting and pumps, and specialize in explosion protection. Our products are used in a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, and industrial cleaning. We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in our workshop in Perth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and test high pressure water jetting and pump systems in accordance with specifications and standards
- Conduct fault diagnosis and repair on pumps, motors, valves and other equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work with other team members to ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

**Requirements**:

- Trade qualified Fitter with relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with high pressure water jetting and pump systems is highly desirable, although any mechanical fixed plant equipment experience acceptable.
- Familiarity with explosion protection equipment is a plus
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
