**The Opportunity**
- Ensure all employees operate within the requirements of the companies quality and safety standards
- Act as a liaison, facilitating efficient interaction between departments to ensure best flow of product and on-time deliveries
- Provide operators with correct PPE and ensure correct use where necessary
- Ensure that housekeeping procedures are maintained to ensure a safe working environment
- Train operators in the safe use, care and maintenance of machinery and other manufacturing process tools
- Department Team Leaders may be required to coordinate other processing departments on an as required basis
- Provide notification via set reporting procedures to payroll regarding absentees when required.

**About You**

The successful applicant will be a self motivated, enthusiastic, reliable individual who possess the ability to effectively manage people to deliver results and will display the following skills and attributes:

- Proven experience as a Team Leader within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Ability to handle demanding situations and meet delivery deadlines
- Must have a mathematical aptitude
