We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced _**Assistant Manager/2IC**_ to help lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. **Role Summary**: As our Assistant Manager, you'll support our Cafe Manager in leading a passionate team, maintaining customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll be hands on, working both behind the counter and on the floor to keep things running smoothly. **What you'll do**: - Support the manager with staff scheduling, training and performance - Supervise day-to-day operations and step in as acting manager when needed - Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times - Assistant in stock management, ordering and supplier coordination - Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety standards - Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally **What we're looking for**: - Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role (cafe, restaurant or hospitality preferred) - A strong work ethic and positive attitude - Passion for great customer service and an eye for detail. - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Barista experience is a bonus - Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment - Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as required - Organisational and computer skills **What we offer**: - A friendly, supportive team environment - Opportunities for growth and development - Staff discounts on food and beverages **How to apply**: We can't wait to meet you. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 - 45 per week Work Location: In person
