**About the Role**

The primary focus of the Resident Companion role is to ensure those Residents that require it, are given specific one-on-one time each week, to uphold our Additional Services commitments and support our Residents in promoting connection and wellbeing. The Resident Companion is required to assist with the activities relating to Regis Additional Services residents and Resident that may book these services.

**Responsibilities include**
- Liaise with the General Manager/Club Services Manager/Family to decide on the plan for each resident.
- Scheduled visits to all Residents who have Resident Companion hours included in their package
- A focus towards building rapport and offering companionship to each resident taking part in the Resident Companion program.
- Coordinate requested ‘personal outing’ services for participating Residents.
- Write accurate notes in each Resident’s AutumnCare file, under participation records.
- Liaise with family, as requested, to give and receive feedback regarding the Residents visits.
