As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting both elderly and people with disability to live in the comfort of their own home.

This is a casual role whereby you must have the ability and willingness to support clients in the community in the areas of Western Sydney, Blue Mountains and the surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle in their own home.
- Must be able to take clients out for Social Activities in order to maintain their social community outside their home.
- Must have the ability to undertake all the basic house keeping duties such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Companionship and Meal Preparation.
- Assist and support clients with daily Personal and Hygiene Care needs.
- Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping for all the services attended.

**About you**

This role is fulfilling but can be tough, requiring someone resilient both physically and emotionally. We are after people that have a good heart, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of both elderly and people with disability and have similar values to ours.

You must have
- Flexibility to work short shifts such as 2 to 4 hour shifts
- Current Australian driver’s licence and a car with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid and Manual handling certificate.
- National Criminal History Record Check
- NSW Working With Children Check

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.95 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
