Baker

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head Chef, an opportunity now exists for a new part time or casual Baker. This role seeks a dedicated and committed individual who wants to further their culinary career. Whether you are a qualified chef or an experienced baker we want to hear from you To be successful in the vibrant and energetic team, you will be motivated, committed to learning and developing your skill set, and have a strong passion for working with great food. You will also be excited about working in a fast-paced restaurant, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment. We're a small team in a busy kitchen so a good attitude is a must. What is most important is that you bring a passion for great food and great entertainment and genuinely care about our customers as much as we do.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes
- Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous baking experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends
- Passion for baking and creativity in the kitchen

Our Club operates every day of the year. You will be required to work public holidays and weekends.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- A willingness to learn from a team of great leaders
- Completed an apprenticeship or traineeship or alternatively, completed a qualification in baking, such as a Certificate III in Bread Baking (FBP30417) or Certificate III in Baking (FBP30517) through a Registered Training Organisation.
- Bakers are required to have previous experience in a basic café or restaurant
- Knowledge of food hygiene & workplace hygiene procedures (HACCP)
