Finity Consulting are currently looking to hire a Statistical Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.

Alongside our consulting work, we also develop a range of software products, offering our clients leading technology to navigate business challenges.**About the role**

A great opportunity had arisen for a Statistical Analyst to join our Statistics and Advanced Analytics team. At Finity Consulting, you will be working alongside our consultants to deliver innovative business solutions to our clients. You will work closely with our experienced Statisticians to solve complex problems and provide insights to data that allow both our consultants and our clients better understand our solutions and advice.
- In order to be considered for this position you must demonstrate:
- 2 - 4 years hands on experience with data analytics and predictive modelling
- A tertiary qualification in statistics or similar field (e.g. mathematics, computer science, econometrics) with strong academic results is essential
- Experience with programming languages such as R, Python and/or SQL
- Expertise with visualisation frameworks like R Shiny, Power BI, and/or Tableau
- Ability to process and analyse data for trends and patterns and to find answers to specific questions
- Experience with statistical modelling or machine learning methods such as GLM, GBM, clustering, decision trees, network analysis and text mining to solve commercial problems
- Confidence in communicating with colleagues and clients
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter who has a passion to learn and enjoys rewarding professional challenges
- An inquiring mind with attention to detail and innovative thinker
- Insurance experience is handy, but not required. Our current team have joined us from many different industries including media, finance and property.
