Store Person

Wests Group Macarthur is a progressive group in Sydney's South-West, comprising of Western Suburbs League Club Campbelltown, The Sherwood Macarthur, Country Club Gledswood Hills and Lakeside Golf Club Camden. Our clubs are home to over 450 staff and 85,000 members and offer an array of food, beverage, gaming, function, and sporting facilities. We currently have several development projects in the pipeline to enhance our members experience and pride ourselves on supporting and offering our local community exceptional experiences via our four growing destinations.

The Position

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:
Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure the quality and accuracy of items
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update inventory systems regularly
Ensure inventory supplies are sufficient to meet operational requirements
Collaborate with kitchen and cellar staff to fulfill requirements and maintain par levels
Monitor the shelf life of perishable items and rotate stock accordingly
Organise and optimise storage spaces for efficient stock retrieval
Assist in the selection and ordering of supplies, considering cost-effectiveness and quality
Conduct regular stocktakes and participate in inventory audits
Communicate effectively with suppliers and handle discrepancies in deliveries
Maintain order and cleanliness of the store area
General cleaning and admin duties as required

**The successful applicant will have**:
Demonstrated experience as a Store Person in the hospitality industry
Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Intermediate computing and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing business needs
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
Physically fit & well presented
Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence
Working knowledge of food safety, WHS standards and a commitment to workplace safety
Must be available for weekend work on a 7-day rotating roster
Fork lift licence preferred
