**About the role**:
Bathurst Regional Council is currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the team at Council's Waste Management Centre in the critical role of Waste Management Centre Operator (WMC Operator).

**Key Requirements**:

- Current NSW Class HR Driver's Licence
- Proven experience and certification of competency to operate front-end loaders and skid steer loader
- Proven experience in the operation of multi-lift trucks and bulldozer
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures including General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience in handling customers to reach successful outcomes
- Ability to operate a computer
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required (penalty rates will apply)

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.

**Salary**:$1,155.40 to $1,213.83 per week + adverse working conditions allowance of $48.94 per week + weekend and public holiday penalty rates (when applicable) + superannuation

**Position Status**:Permanent Full Time

**Hours of work**:38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an RDO every third week
