We are a successful longstanding Australian owned company that services the furniture, interior design, automotive and marine industries.

We have an opportunity for a warehouse storeperson to join our small friendly team.

THE ROLE:
The position is reporting to Warehouse Supervisor. Picking & packing outgoing orders. Stock checking and receiving. Unloading & loading of deliveries. General warehouse maintenance. Liaising with couriers and customers.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Warehouse experience in a similar role. Be fit and energetic - as the job can be quite physical. Motivated and focused - Will not be easily distracted. Self-starter - Can work well without instruction. Shows initiative - is able to keep themselves busy. Is reliable and punctual. Has a positive and friendly personality as this role involves interaction with customers. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Attention to detail as there is some paperwork and administrative duties involved. Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
