**Position**: Turf Operator / Greenkeeper

**Location**: Yatala and surrounding areas

**Hours**: Monday to Friday + overtime if required. 5am start.
**Start**: Immediate

To work under the guidance of the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to maintain sports turf facilities within all contractual areas.

To work with the Turf team and carry out all work as allocated and provide support to other horticulture areas within the company as required.

**MAIN TASKS**
- General open space maintenance
- Turf maintenance, mowing, machine operations, spraying, machinery maintenance, watering, irrigation maintenance etc.
- Safe horticultural/turf machinery use and maintenance
- Drive and maintain trucks and utilities as required for eg. Tractor, quadbike, aerator etc.
- Handling of herbicide and pesticide products
- Respond to general public, customer & relevant team member enquiries
- Liaise with Operations Supervisors/Managers, employees, and customers

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Cert III Sports Turf Management or equivalent - DESIRABLE
- Experience & knowledge of sports grounds (including turf wicket preparation & knowledge)
- Experience driving / operating Tractor, aerator
- Current Drivers licence
- ACUP Spray Ticket
- MR Licence
- First Aid Licence
