Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

This role will be in the Acquisition, Engagement and Retention Crew in the Everyday Banking Domain. This portfolio is at the heart of the Retail Bank’s franchise managing acquisition and retention for our everyday banking customers.

**Do work that matters**

Reporting to the Everyday Banking Chapter Area Lead, this Chapter Lead role will play a key leadership role across both the Engagement and In-life squads through the coaching and development of the skills and capabilities of a team of product managers. As a member of the In-life squad, you will support the Product Owner by leading and owning the development and execution of major strategic initiatives to drive strong customer engagement across the full suite of Everyday Banking products and features. This role requires you to be able to think strategically, have a deep understanding of our customers and the key strategic priorities of the Everyday Banking Domain. You will play a critical role in helping the AER crew deliver exceptional customer and channel experiences across all of the Everyday Banking products.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Lead, develop and coach a team of product managers to ensure they have the key skills and capabilities to deliver on key business objectives
- Proactively develop, implement and embed strategies for driving sustainable growth of everyday banking products and features
- Lead and execute change working with a wide range of stakeholders, to improve engagement and reduce attrition across our product offerings
- Partner with the Product Owners across the crew to enable you to grow and develop your team
- Proactively identify opportunities to uplift the product managers across the domain in different capabilities
- Proactively identify, understand and manage risks across the business
- Understand dynamics of the Everyday Banking portfolio, including key drivers, trends and leading indicators, and ideate plans to adapt to changing conditions and opportunities
- Have a deep understanding of the Everyday Banking customers, be across and pre-empt impact of macro, micro and product landscapes that pertain to everyday accountsPlay a leading role across the broader Everyday Banking team, fostering collaborative culture and ensuring all CommBank’s values are demonstrated at all times

**We want to hear from you if you have**:

- Proven experience in leading and developing a team
- Preferred experience with leading in an agile environment
- Proven experience with developing product strategies and roadmaps
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial acumen, balanced by a desire to achieve optimal customer outcomes
- Proven capability in analysing and uplifting key customer journeys and processes
- Proven track record of strong performance delivery
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proven ability to build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar
