To support our growth, we are seeking a Full-Time Stock Controller to be responsible for the day to day stock operations of our national flagship store, Martin Place. This role has been introduced to help increase sales, product performance as well as working back with the Head Office merchandise team to maximise product performance as well as opportunities to drive better sell through of product ranges in store. This role will be reporting into the Store Business Manager of Martin Place as well as the Area Business Manager. This role is a pivotal role in the continued success of M.J. Bale’s national flagship, Martin Place.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Manage the day to day stock operations of the store, deliveries, consolidations, replenishments and regular communications with the Head Office merchandise team.
- Look for opportunities in both newness and indent stock to increase sales, but feeding back critical information to store team & Merchandise team.
- Monitor the allocation of all products and respond to any stock issues in a timely manner
- Manage core replenishment lines to maximise sales
- Provide support and guidance in stock takes when required
- Manage store customer requests and the request process
- Liaise with the warehouse team and stores to ensure efficiency in stock delivery, shipments, transfers, and credits/returns
- Store stock level/turn reporting
- Manage AP21 training to new staff
- Experience in a similar role in the retail industry either at store level or Head Office
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
- Proactive approach to work and the ability to work autonomously
- Proficient in excel
- Strong analytical skill
- Experience with AP21 is highly regarded
- High energy and be a motivated team player
