**Job Title**: Console Operator

**Shift Times**: 5am-12pm, 12pm-6pm
**Shifts Per Week**: 3-4 shifts per week
**Weekend Work**: Weekend availability is essential

**About the Role**

As a Console Operator at **The Station Grocer**, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring every visit is a positive one. You’ll be responsible for console operations, assisting customers with fuel purchases, processing transactions, and keeping the site running smoothly.

We trade **365 days a year**, so this role requires availability across weekdays, weekends, and **public holidays**. It will particularly suit someone who can commit to working **the same set days each week** with consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate the console system to process fuel transactions accurately.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Handle cash, card, and electronic transactions with accuracy.
- Monitor pumps, uphold safety standards, and maintain site cleanliness.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Consistent weekly availability (including weekends and public holidays).
- Reliability and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.
