**The Role**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role as a Plant Inspector is part of our for Brisbane inspection team - a team that is experiencing rapid growth. If you’re seeking a fast paced, quickly evolving role with plenty of progression opportunities, this is the role for you. This role will be based in our Riverview office, but will require travel to client sites throughout Australia on a regular basis.
**The day to day**
Our teams love what they do, and when you’re working with us your day could involve:
- Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements;
- Preparing inspection work scopes including any NDT required, review the equipment history and findings;
- Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements;
- Performing inspections and quality reviews as required by the applicable code and client requirements for the construction of new pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment;
Forming part of a skilled and high performing inspection team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. **The essentials**
We are seeking a motivated individual who will ideally possess the following:
- AICIP (preferred) or API 510 & 570 Certification (required); API 653 (desirable)
- NDT Certification (UT/MT/PT) (required); Advanced NDT Certifications (desirable);
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment;
- Working knowledge and experience of NDT and Specialist Inspection techniques as well as relevant industry experience with exposure to industrial plant;
