Gardener/landscaper

As a Gardener, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our gardens, ensuring they are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. Your duties will include planting and nurturing a variety of plants, flowers, and trees, as well as maintaining lawns, hedges, and other green spaces and any other maintenance as required.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain seasonal plants.
- Planting seeds and growing plants or flowers.
- Pruning trees, shrubs, and bushes.
- Preparing and maintaining lawns
- Propagating and planting trees and herbaceous gardens
- Weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing
- Planning and scheduling and installing landscape construction.
- Using lawn mowers and hedge trimmers to mow the lawns.
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants.
- Ensuring that all plants are healthy and pest free.
- Spraying plants to control insects and disease.
- Maintaining the design of the garden.
- Advising on garden appearance and design
- Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.
- Maintaining and cleaning gardening machinery and equipment, like mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience as a Gardener.
- Knowledge of state health and safety regulations for landscaping.
- The ability to lift heavy objects.
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
- A love of the outdoors and plant life
- A friendly and outgoing personality
- Honest, Reliable, and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in hot weather.
- Ability to observe WHS regulations.
- Possess a current driver’s license

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
