**Our Journey**

The Victorian Heart Hospital is Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital. It includes a full range of ambulatory and inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac theatres, cardiac catheterisation laboratories and ambulatory services such as cardiac CT, echocardiography and specialist consultation. It also features a unique, patient centred model of care. The Victorian Heart Hospital will also play a key role in advancing research and teaching and will be home to the Victorian Heart Institute, a brand new, health and medical research organisation at Monash University.

Recruiting Now for a Cardiac Sonographer Educator to join the Monash Health PoCUS program

As a PoCUS Educator (Cardiac), you’ll be part of a team passionate about delivering high-quality cardiac care to a diverse and growing community. As an experienced and qualified Cardiac Sonographer you will be excited to join the interdepartmental collaborative PoCUS education program, focussing on education of echocardiography to Cardiology registrars and limited echocardiography to Critical Care doctors across the Monash Health network. This is an exceptional Cardiac Sonographer career opportunity.

A Part Time opportunity exists for a suitably qualified cardiac sonographer to join our busy and innovative Point-of-care Echocardiography program.

**What You Need**:

- Full accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry [ASAR] is a mandatory requirement of this position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team work attributes
- Ability to liaise with hospital department directors, cardiology trainees, critical care trainees, ultrasound vendors, clients and family members.
- Previous experience with 1-on-1 and group education facilitation is preferred.
- Demonstrate autonomy and a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the acute care environment.
- Evidence of commitment and participation in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
