**Role Details**:
Are you ready to start a rewarding career where every day makes a difference? Join the Department for Child Protection as a **Support Worker** in our Inner South Office. In this role, you’ll help children and families stay connected, provide support to Social Workers, and gain hands-on experience that will set you up for success. With mentoring, guidance, and opportunities to learn, this is the perfect role to launch your journey in child protection while making a meaningful impact in the community.

**In this role, you will**:

- Support children and families to build and maintain positive connections.
- Assist Social Workers with client services and family care planning.
- Link families to services, programs, and community supports.
- Help organise events and activities for children and families.
- Provide admin and practical support to your team.
- Learn and grow in a supportive workplace with mentoring.

You are compassionate, approachable, and eager to make a difference in children’s lives. You bring strong communication skills and the ability to work with people from all walks of life, even in challenging situations.
