Brisbane Busways is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter Services Technician that will be based in Murrarie, Brisbane to join our established maintenance and repair team, focusing on Brisbane's transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities include overseeing planned after-hours shutdowns, providing on-call coverage for repairing and maintaining mechanical services, and managing automated systems within the infrastructure.

**Your role as a Mechanical Fitter Service Technician**:
**About You**

Customer focused team oriented, accountable and results driven.
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology.

**Work Experience**

Extensive knowledge of ventilation fans and motors
Experience in maintenance and repairs within various settings
Experience in industrial automation or process control plants
Demonstrated understanding of a multi-disciplined construction, maintenance environment.
Experience overseeing on-site works and interacting with sub-contractors

Required Qualifications
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade MEM30205
