**Food Services Assistants (Ward Host) - Casey Hospital**

We currently have the following permanent part-time Food Services Assistant positions available:
**SSU, ICU and ED**

Saturday (PM)

13.30 - 20.30 (13 hours per fortnight)

Wednesday and Thursday (PM)

13.30 - 20.30 (26 hours per fortnight)

The Food Services team at Casey Hospital requires qualified Food Services Assistants to prepare and provide meals to our wards.

To be successful for this role you will be a person who:

- Takes pride in your work with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Is a good communicator (written and verbal)
- Holds a strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
- Is able to work unsupervised but take direction
- Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Has a thorough understanding of food safety and cleaning processes within a healthcare environment

What you need:

- Relevant Food Services certificate (minimum SITXFSA001 - Use hygienic practices for food safety)
- Current Working with Children Card
- Basic to moderate computer skills
- Knowledge of the computer-based menu management system
- Knowledge of stock control
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Food Services Assistant in a medium to large acute health setting or large residential aged care or equivalent public or private sector
