Cemetery Worker

$28-$30ph (dependent on your experience) + super
- Casual full-time hours 8am - 4:30pm

Maxima Recruitment Service is currently recruiting for a number of cemeteries across Adelaide, mainly located in Adelaide’s North, West and Southern suburbs.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- General grounds and garden maintenance
- Operate general horticultural equipment such as brush cutters and ride on mowers
- Assist with grave digging under direct supervision
- Operate excavators and other earthmoving equipment
- Dig and backfill graves by excavator (training provided)

**We have Grounds Maintenance & Grave Digger positions avaliable.**

**The Grave Digger positions require an Excavator ticket and excavator experience.**

**THE REQUIREMENTS**:

- ** Driver’s License (essential)**:

- ** MR Truck License (Desired)**:

- ** White Card (essential)**:

- ** Evidence of the Covid -19 Vaccination (Essential)**:

- ** Horticulture/ Gardening experience (Essential)**:

- ** Horticulture Certificates (desired)**:

- ** Excavator ticket/experience (essential for Grave Digger position)**:

- Must be willing to undergo and pass medical and D/A test
- Current National Police Clearance (Or need to obtain)

**ABOUT YOU**:
Must have a general background in grounds / garden maintenance and general excavation skills will be looked upon favourably.

- Experience operating horticulture and civil construction equipment
