**Staff Specialist - Paediatrics - Part Time**

**What you’ll be doing**
As a Staff Specialist - Paediatrician, you will provide contemporary comprehensive Paediatric specialist services for optimal patient outcomes. Using your expertise to provide insight into the child and family’s health and wellbeing and helping to identify potential issues before they arise.

In addition, you will provide, support and consultation to promote optimal health, wellbeing, growth and development of the child and the health and wellbeing of the parents.

Selection Criteria
- Holds unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Paediatrician.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Paediatrics at the role delineation of the service.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively to engage, consult, negotiate and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external key stakeholders, including management, clinicians and consumers.as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.
