**Position Overview**

As a Baker at Van Dough, you will play a pivotal role in creating our signature baked goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency. This position is ideal for someone passionate about baking, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Duties/Tasks**
- Maintaining the cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors.
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough for bread, cakes, and patisseries from scratch.
- Operating machines that roll and mould dough and associated products while focus being on consistency
- coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times and ensure quality at all times.
- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with Occupational health and safety regulations
- Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
- Training and assisting junior team members.
- Prepare the list of raw materials and order with suppliers.

**About you**

All applicants must have the following:

- A love for baking
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Cert III in Baking / Patisserie
- Ability to work in a fast paced/flexible environment
- The ability to be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Have own transport
- Passion and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, delegation and time-management skills

Pay: $75,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
