Kitchen Hand

The Kitchen Hand will prepare the meals for our centres for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. There’s no need for formal qualifications and all training will be provided but you should be enthusiastic about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for the children in our service. Nutrition is a vital part of children’s development and healthy eating is part of the QCCS philosophy. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab.

The Kitchen Hand must be passionate about children’s nutrition and have the same ethos and passion to embed and promote this in our centre.

Your role will include the preparation of fruits and vegetables for platters etc, heating and delivering meals, ensuring compliance with the centre Food Safety Plan and much more

**Monday to Friday is a must - 8am - 3pm**

**Woodcrest Early Education Centre** are located next door to Woodcrest College with our entrance on Commercial Drive in Springfield. Our centre has been rated as an **Exceeding Centre** by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). We can care for up to 265 children per day and offer a huge range of quality programs for our children such as bush kindy, healthy eating programs as well as language and music opportunities.
