They provide each client with professional access resolutions and services that deliver results for the safety and progression of the organisation at hand.

This business services the building and construction industry, where their clients are required to perform tasks needing machines to elevate them to considerable heights.

These machines are such as boom lift, scissor lift, mini cranes, vacuum excavators, boom lifts and so much more

In some cases, they will get sufficient use from their machinery to make purchasing sensible, others might only need it occasionally and therefore opt for a hire option, this is the speciality of our client

**The role**

As the building, construction and manufacturing arena continues to surge forward, so does the demand for industry related hire equipment, the customer service/hire team are all hands-on deck and overservice the clients so well, the repeat business is overwhelming.

This is where business has decided the need for an Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of the department has come into fruition to ensure efficiencies they are now seeking;
- An experience manager with industry related or hire/service-related experience
- Able to motivate, mentor a new and growing team
- Roll up you sleeves and do a deep dive on the current process to ensure efficiencies month on month.
- Able to work with the team where issues are escalated such as delivery issues, returns, make decision on orders, assist with emergency orders, transport, etc
- A manager who is effortlessly able to slide into the role of team member where need to mentor and in overload times and then move back to manager in a heartbeat
- Oversee all service accounts, new accounts, and agreements
- Champion all IT matters for the branch
- Ensure and manage the process of turning enquiries into sales
- Quoting and follow through clients to sale, new and existing
- Able to multitask, make commercial decision for the branch
- Seek new business and follow industry trends

**The essentials**
- Have worked in a management role within transport, machine hire, construction, or the service industry.
- Proven experience in operations, client services and sales
- Able to mentor and train new staff
- Experience with P&L’s
- Able to lead by example
- Work to policy and procedure while ensuring all processes met industry standards
