**About Sports Aid**

**Availability Needed**

You don’t need to be available for every session, we roster different coaches per team.

**Senior School Volleyball League**
- **Thursday (Training)**: 3:30 pm-5:00 pm
- **Friday (Training)**: 6:45 pm-8:00 am _(please confirm end time)_
- **Saturday (Game)**: 7:45 am-11:00 am

**Junior School Volleyball League**
- **Tuesday (Training)**: 3:30 pm-4:30 pm
- **Friday (Game)**: 4:00 pm-5:15 pm

**Why this Role**
Great for experienced coaches and aspiring educators seeking hands-on experience in school sport.

**Responsibilities (Volleyball-specific)**
- Plan and run age-appropriate sessions for **serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking,** and **defence**:

- Teach correct technique (platform, footwork, approach, arm swing, setting hands) and safe training habits
- Coach **rotations, serve-receive formations, transition**, and simple systems (e.g., 4-2/5-1)
- Set up and manage drills, small-sided games, and match scenarios
- Analyse performance; provide clear, constructive feedback and individual improvement plans
- Promote fair play, inclusion, and player wellbeing

**Employment Process**
- Onboard to our rostering platform
- Receive available **Volleyball Coaching** positions
- Set your availability and accept shifts
- Receive confirmation of allocated shifts

**Payment**
- All coaching positions are paid
- Fortnightly payroll (Fridays)

**Requirements**:

- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Valid **Working with Children Check**:

- Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, skills, rotations, and coaching methods
- Proven coaching experience (desirable) or **elite playing experience**:

- Coaching accreditation (e.g., Volleyball Australia Community/Level 1) desirable
- Excellent communication and teaching skills; reliable, professional, and child-safe aware

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual, Freelance, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
