We are currently seeking a values-driven Gardening Coordinator to provide coordination of the Salvos Gardening social enterprise, and oversight of day to day operations. You will be supervising individuals who are from an AOD background, potentially new to the work force and gardening industry.
You will successfully
- Manage Salvos Gardening employees
- Supervise people who are new or returning to the work force
- Help to build employment and life skills for those under your supervision
- Safely operating and maintain gardening equipment
- Be responsible for garden maintenance and improvement
- Ensure gutters and windows are cleaned
- Quote Jobs for clients
You will have
- Experience in AOD services or community
- Supervisory level experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in professional gardening work preferred but not essential
- Current driver’s license
- ACT WWVP check or willingness to obtain one
- A willingness to undergo a National Police check
