**About AGA**:
AGA has more than 30 years’ experience in training people and placing them into employment, with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. AGA partners with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria.

**About the role**:
The role is** Monday - Friday** 40 hours a week with a **start time of 6:30 am** and a **finish time of 3:00pm**.

Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful trainee as well as providing on the job training for 12 Months. **About you**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions
- Enjoys problem-solving and being mathematically challenged
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to attend RTO/TAFE training
- Holds a drivers licence and vehicle

**What you will do**:

- Assisting qualified electricians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Learning and following electrical codes and safety regulations
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of materials, tools, and equipment for electrical projects
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Handling and maintaining electrical tools and equipment
- Performing basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as wiring, circuit testing, and troubleshooting
- Assisting in the identification and resolution of electrical problems and faults
- Adhering to workplace safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Participating in on-the-job training and educational courses to further develop electrical skills and knowledge.
