Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows is nestled amongst the sand dunes at Caves Beach. Only an hour from Sydney or 30 minutes from Newcastle, Caves Coastal is the perfect location for delicious eats, decadent drinks and luxury accommodation. The hotel offers the perfect beachside venue for any event, specialising in weddings, corporate and social functions

**About the Role**:
**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a pub environment, with TAB & gaming experience highly regarded.
- Must hold a current RSA & RCG Certificate
- Product Knowledge: You should have a comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage products and services offered at the venue.
- Upselling Skills: As part of your role, you will be expected to use suggestive sales techniques to upsell food and beverage products to guests, enhancing their experience and increasing revenue.
- Coordination and Communication: You will need to coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate food orders are delivered and dietary requirements are met.
- Cash Handling Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in handling cash and processing payments is crucial for this role.
- Gaming and TAB Knowledge: You will be responsible for managing the gaming and TAB functions within the venue. Knowledge of gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures is desirable.

- Availability and Flexibility: Being available and flexible to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts, including public holidays, is often a requirement in the hospitality industry.

**Salary**: $31.00 - $37.91 per hour
