**Job Opportunity**: Disability Support Worker
**Location**: Blacktown, NSW
**Position**: Casual Personal Support Worker

**Fixed-term shifts**
Mondays and Tuesdays - 7:30am to 10:30am
Additional shifts may be offered

**About the Client**:
Our male client is a resilient individual navigating life with a need of high intensity supports. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable **Female** **Disability Support Workers** to assist with personal care, Peristeen bowel care, catheter care, meal preparation, general domestic duties and ensure his well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- **High intensity supports**:Managing Peristeen bowel care and catheter care.
- **Medication Prompts**: Provide timely reminders for medication to ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- **Meal Planning**: Assist in planning balanced and nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
- **Personal Care**:Showering, grooming, drying, dressing.
- **Companionship**: Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

**Experience Required**:
Previous experience in disability support, particularly with clients with SCI, is preferred
Experience with Manual Handling support
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with the client and their support network.
