**Mental Health Recovery Worker (Health and Wellbeing)**:

**Permanent, part-time positions based in Launceston (100 - 110hrs per month)**

Anglicare Tasmania is a non-profit organisation providing a wide range of community services to the people of Tasmania. We are part of the national Anglicare Australia network of organisations. Anglicare advocates for social justice and aids people in times of need. We provide programs relating to health, housing, families, drug and alcohol treatment and support and more.

**About the role**:
The Rocherlea Rehabilitation & Recovery Service offers therapeutic, non-clinical mental health support to adults in a community setting. The service provides Step Up Step Down intervention, in addition to medium term residential support. Employees work collaboratively with mental health services to provide individualised psychosocial and skills based support and therapeutic group activities.

This position will be shift work, we are looking for two permanent part-time employees with the hours per month ranging between 100 - 110 hours.

**What we are looking for in an employee**:

- Knowledge and experience in supporting people who have severe and persistent mental ill health;
- Knowledge and skills in providing effective psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery including intake, non-clinical assessment, recovery planning, referral, and effective exit planning;
- High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to conduct non-clinical assessments;
- A minimum qualification of a Diploma of Community Services;
- Assist clients with Medication accreditation (training can be provided).

**The successful applicant will be required to**:

- Present a National Police Check - Unsupervised with children (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record);
- Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- Undertake a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
- Provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence

On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
