**About the role**

We are seeking a versatile & brilliant Motion Designer to join our talented team. Our Motion Designers fuse cutting-edge technologies and innovative design approaches, solving complex creative problems for our clients. Our clients needs for the latest and most brilliant motion design show no sign of slowing down, and we are looking to build on our talented team.

Based in our Gadigal (Sydney) studio, you’ll join a high-performing team in an environment that values pushing creative boundaries and breaking lazy binaries.

**Responsibilities**
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations for various digital platforms, including social media and dynamic presentations.
- Create key art and design concepts from scratch, including creating style frames and references to communicate ideas.
- Contribute to the conceptualisation and development of creative concepts for motion design projects.,
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, editors, sound design, account directors and production teams.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on animations and motion graphics to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Work across large-scale After Effects projects efficiently and competently.
- Maintain brand consistency across all projects and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present and justify strategy, ideation and design concepts.
- Provide guidance to junior designers and other teams.
- Stay updated with and proactively explore the latest tools, techniques, and trends in motion design to elevate our work.
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, including other animation programs like Cinema 4D and Unreal.

**Experience & Skills**
- 4 years of experience in motion designing a wide range of projects, from shorter, social media-based assets, to longer scripted pieces, commercial projects and/or documentaries
- High-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
- Advanced design & composition skills
- Excellent understanding of motion, movement and pacing
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confident communication skills, including verbal, nonverbal and online
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of the team
- Strong creative problem-solving skills to address technical challenges & find innovative solutions during the design & animation process
- Experience working in collaborative environments, working within a team of designers or collaborating with other departments in larger projects
- ** DESIRED**:Experience working with Figma and/or Cinema 4D

**The pay range for this role is**:
80,000 - 100,000 AUD per year(Sydney)
