Tennis Coach

Canberra School of Tennis is looking to appoint a tennis coach to join our award-winning team. CSOT facilitates the instruction of Tennis Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis and other Tennis Australia programs across four venues in Canberra with over 750 weekly students.

With an expanding program, the team is looking to take on additional coaches in our Gungahlin, Weston Creek and Chisholm venues ready for an immediate start.

**About the Role**

A coach at Canberra School of Tennis helps facilitate the learning of basic tennis skills in a positive and encouraging environment. The role suits someone who has a keen interest in tennis and sport in general, experience working amongst a team and above all, enjoys and can work well with children. Previous tennis coaching experience is optional, however experience playing or coaching other sports will be considered.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tennis skills, general coaching experience and/or a demonstrated ability to work with children.
- Excellent communication skills - both with children and parents
- Ability to follow and adapt lesson plans where necessary
- Friendly, approachable and a positive attitude
- Transport to and from venues
- Have obtained or are willing to obtain a WWVP card, police check and Tennis Australia coach membership

Canberra School of Tennis will provide training in the specifics of delivering a lesson.

Pay: $22.00 - $53.52 per hour
