Multicultural Health Liaison Officer

What your day will look like....
As a Multicultural Health Liaison Officer, you'll be the bridge between our diverse patient population and the healthcare team. You'll support patients and their families through their hospital journey by offering culturally relevant advice and guidance. Your work will involve engaging with community representatives, gathering valuable feedback to enhance care delivery, and ensuring culturally safe practices are followed. You'll collaborate with clinicians, helping to communicate treatment and discharge plans to CALD patients and their families, ensuring that interpreters are used when needed. You'll also participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for the best outcomes for each patient, all while ensuring that patient confidentiality and cultural safety are maintained. Your work will make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
