**About the Role**

Permanent part time and casual opportunities where you will provide personalised support to our QCSS (Queensland Community Support Scheme) clients within their home. You will be required to travel throughout Toowoomba and up to Oakey and Dalby as you will be supporting multiple clients a day (travel between clients will be reimbursed with.92 cents per kilometre back in your pocket).

Due to growth, we have 10 hours across 2 days per week available and a casual opportunity. All working hours between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, no evening or sleepover shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals inclusive of:
In home supports:

- Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and housework
- Personal care
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Skill development

Community Connections supports:

- Social support & linking
- Shopping assistance
- Assist clients to improve their independence in according to their identified needs and goals
- Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their family

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) or relevant experience
- QLD Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
- An Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
