**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking two Local Drivers (HR / HC / MC) to join the team in the Gatton depot for pick up and delivery work.**

**About the role**:
Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.

Duties you can expect with this role include:

- Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pick up and delivery runs
- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Driving prime movers to haul B trailers in various configurations
- Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists

You will be required to work every second Saturday.

**About the requirements**:

- Have a current HR, HC or MC Licence
- Have a Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
- Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Have a strong customer focus
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
