**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic
**_full-time Audit and Typing Team Member _**to join our Audit & Typing Qscan Concierge team. This position is central to the achievement of service level agreements in ensuring excellence in patient care and referrer outcomes.

Work from home opportunity is on offer if you are an experienced Medical Typist, but if you're not experienced and are thinking about taking a step in this direction, we can offer full training to be based at our Midland Clinic.

**Core duties include**:

- Complete daily auditing as directed by the Auditing & Typing Team Leader in accordance with appropriate processes
- Work with sites to amend patient request errors as required
- Provide feedback to the Auditing & Typing Team Leader regarding areas of improvement for dissemination to the respective sites for follow up
- Complete Medical Typing duties as required through the effective use of a Dictaphone
- Perform accurate audio transcription
- Maintain a sound knowledge of relevant medical terminology
- Produce appropriately formatted reports and letters as required
- Engage in mentoring and coaching other customer service teams as requested
- Produce consultation letters for radiologists; and
- Build and maintain strong relationships with management, radiologists, onsite staff, and other team members.
- A strong customer service focus and demonstrate compassionate care towards patients
- Medical typist experience in a healthcare environment (preferably within diagnostic imaging)
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing patient and referrer queries, complaints, and grievances
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet competing deadlines
- Proven competence in managing the interactive relationship with patients, ensuring that privacy, dignity and confidentiality are always maintained
- Sound computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to other Qscan locations as required
- Basic understanding of HIC legislation including the Medicare Benefits and Qscan Billing schedules
- Experience in Karisma or an alternate Radiology Information System is highly desirable
- Administrative and/or Medical Terminology qualifications (preferred but not essential)
