Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker to join the team, located throughout Outer-Eastern Melbourne.
- 39-year-old male participant.
- The Basin location.
- Tuesday(s) or Wednesday(s) from 9:00 am - 12:00/1:00 pm. Ability to offer coverage for Friday(s) 10:00 am - 1:00 pm would also be advantageous.
- Male support worker preferred, but open to male and females if they possess the right skills.
- Motor Neurone Disease (MND) experience preferred.
- Handyman experience highly advantageous.
- Tasks include: assistance around the home performing home improvement/handyman tasks/projects (i.e. hanging shelves, building cupboards, etc).
- Participant interests include: Owns a construction business.
- Support requirements expected to increase over time.
- Possibility for additional work with other participants nearby.

We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
